AMC CEO Says No End to The Walking Dead in Sight (comingsoon.net)
AMC is not content to let The Walking Dead die with grace and dignity when the time comes and instead will parade around its lifeless corpse to viewers and advertisers alike. But, given the massive ratings it currently gets, why would they? Perhaps when every last ounce of stupid-female subplots and wholly unsatisfying story arcs is exsanguinated from the series will it be allowed to expire. And then they’ll bring back Lori and Andrea to start the cycle of idiocy over again. And we’ll probably still watch.

In order to accurately portray a Hollywood collective that is growing increasingly impatient with the socially accepted reboot timeframe as well as one that is dredging the depths of mediocre 90s films, Timecop is being rebooted! You might remember the Jean-Claude Van Damme movie from 1994 but damn if I do other than it featured Ron Silver as a bad guy (natch) and Ferris’ girlfriend as the love interest. I can understand the desire to remake well-known, high concept films, but a Timecop redo doesn’t exactly conjure up awesomeness. Sudden Death on the other hand …
A Movie Will Show Graphic Sex Scenes By Digitally Imposing Actors (gizmodo.com)
Lars von Trier is nothing if not … kind of weird. But at least he is finally addressing the entertainment industry’s need to portray sex scenes more realistically between highfalutin actors who would otherwise not stoop to such smut, unless it’s a leaked sex tape. Thankfully though, we shouldn’t have to look at Shia LaBeouf’s penis.
